eBay Store Check List.
o Create a store logo and banner for your page. If you need new graphics you can create them using Canva.com.
o Create at least four main store categories.
o BIG TIP: Price your items with a price ender under $.99.
o Pictures: White backgrounds. Use the savage white photo paper in our supplies. Soft box lights are great and a ring light if you need a ton of light. Try to take square pictures. Camera aspect ratio setting 1:1. Take 4-6 pictures minimum. Use eBay’s photo editing tools to make your backgrounds all white, or remove background on mobile.
o Copy and paste your item title into the description of your listings, this helps with SEO.
o Include as many individual item specifics as you can. BIG ONE IN 2020
o Use templates to auto input your return and shipping policies.
o Create thank you cards to put in each package you ship.
o Include measurements as a picture in your clothing item listings, not measuring tape, an actual picture of the measurements.
o The best way to list currently is Free shipping, 30 day free returns & best offer on. All of those give you big boosts in eBay’s search.
Sign up for the eBay global shipping program AND/OR offer international shipping options - Pirate ship simple export rates.
o Promoted listings. Start using them. What has worked best for us is 5-8% across the board. Do not promote items with low competition. eBay has recently pushed for suggested promotional rates so that is a good way to go if you don't want to monitor it too closely.
o Perfect title format: Brand, gender, size, color, type of item + additional key words. Always use as many characters in your title as you can. You have 80, use them all. Example “Tommy Hilfiger Mens Large Blue Stripped Button Up Long Sleeve Shirt Vtg 90s Flag.”
o DO NOT use all caps or special characters in your titles. Using NWT or EUC is okay but stay away from LISTING LIKE THIS, and do not use ^&$#@!<” etc.
o Pricing your items. Look at sold comps but also look at what is currently listed for sale. We like to undercut the market if we can afford to do so for quick sales without killing the market on the product, do not race to the bottom. (similar to sharing the "buy box" on amazon) Better to sell your items fast, get your capital back and put it into more profitable products.
